10.5 lb / 4.76 kg limit
Sporter-weight barrels, most commonly chambered in 6mm PPC or 6BR, fired at 100m and 200m for score and group.
13.5 lb / 6.12 kg limit
Heavier barrel contours permitted, favouring stiffer setups and larger case capacities for wind-bucking performance.

A more accessible class restricting scope power and stock configuration to keep entry costs reasonable.
No weight limit
Rail guns and heavy actions permitted — the class where equipment accuracy is pushed to its absolute limit.
Match conduct, in brief
- Five-shot and ten-shot groups are fired for record, measured centre-to-centre across the widest points of the group.
- Wind flags are the shooter's own responsibility; range officers do not call conditions.
- Sighters are permitted before the record target only within the time allotted for that relay.
- All rifles are subject to weight and configuration checks before and after the match at the range officer's discretion.
- Aggregate placings are calculated across all record targets fired in a class over the full match.
